Foothills Association of Cruiser Sailors (FACS) is a Calgary, Alberta, Canada based club that meets through the sailing “off season” to socialize, plan for the next year’s sailing adventures, and lie about past years’. Each monthly social has a sailing-related presentation or activity designed to help members make it through to the next spring.
FACS is a member club of the Alberta Sailing Association.
Many of our members own trailerable sailboats, a few own larger coastal cruisers, and several are charterers and racers.
FACS organizes one or two cruises per year to nearby lakes or to the Pacific coast of British Columbia and Washington.
